Yes, there is a market for used racking systems and mezzanine floors. It is in many cases preferred to re-use rather than acquire new. Apart from the obvious cost implications, it is better for the environment, so it is an option than many business owners prefer.

If you are looking to sell your mezzanine floor or racking systems, to get the ball rolling, we will visit your industrial unit or distribution centre to carry out a site survey. This will allow us to assess the equipment and evaluate the access to complete the removal from the premises. We will then be able to provide a favourable valuation. This will of course include all labour costs to dismantle and transport back to our facilities. We will also ensure that the floor bolts are ground flush with the floor to avoid any trip hazards. (This is likely to be an item on the landlord’s Schedule of Dilapidation).
Once you are happy to proceed, a project manager and foreman will be assigned to oversee the completion of the removal. The project manager will be your point of contact throughout the process. This will include regular site visits to ensure all is going to plan and timely updates to ensure we are working to the agreed schedule. Any queries you may have will be directed and dealt with by them, ensuring you peace of mind throughout the process.
All RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) to comply with Health & Safety legislation and will be issued once an agreed reimbursement figure and start date has been confirmed.
